I am up to 4/15 today!!!! One of my girls popped one out while on the roost yesterday and today there were 4 in the nest boxes!!!

but atleast one of my young barred pltmouth rocks laid its first egg!!

Another cold windy miserable day here in Lenoir today,temp was 14 at daylight this morning,and I got 18/19 from my ladies today

We also got 18 from our 19 Gold Comets!!! And MaxPres is right, it's cold here in the Carolinas. We're having our winter blast this week. I'm sure that you folks up North are rolling your eyes at what we call cold but this is no fun down here, Y'all. I'm gonna have to bring in our two coon hounds and make it a Three Dog Night tonight.

My best day ever!!! Out of 20 hens I just brought in 17 eggs.

Went down from 7 out of 14...... probably due to none of them venturing out of thier coop to get some sunlight.... they definatley HATE the snow

12 eggs today...............14 hens. Consistently getting 10 to 12 eggs per day. Hens are only 6 months old this week.
