How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Had to post this a member on our stater thread posted laughed so hard I cried

A man on a donkey was taking a pair of young chickens to market with one tucked under each arm. The stubborn donkey decided to stop and no amount of prodding would get it going again. The man dismounted but, with a chicken under each arm, he was unsuccessful in pulling the donkey forward. He decided it was time to apply some motivation from behind. He needed to hold the donkey's lead rope with two hands to keep him from running off once he got the animal moving and he did not want to lose hold of the two chickens at the same time so he asked a gentleman passing by, "Excuse me sir, will you hold my cock and pullet while I kick my a s s?"

Thursday & Friday

Chicken eggs 11, one egg was damaged and three others were set aside for the incubator

I know the crows got some of the eggs before the winds picked up and the rain started coming down . Before this rain the count was 1.9 inches so I am wondering if we will get 3 or more inches of rain this year as the desert sure can use it .

Goose egg 1

I am beginning to wonder if I am going to get any goslings this year with the geese producing so few eggs and not one goose sitting on a nest and to thing I was getting eggs in November and December but then for no reason the ladys stopped and I cant figure out why the low to nothing in the egg production unless it is the wild cats or dogs as the coyotes only stand at the fence and the geese and coyotes look at each other in total silence, so funny to watch .

Temps: well it got cloudy late Thursday evening and started raining in the middle of the night and stopped Friday and picked up after the sun set so I will be spending this weekend at home as the sandy roads are slick and too easy to slide off the trails . I got me one of them Garret ATX metal detectors last week and I found 3 nuggets from .8 to 1.3 grams all of them were under 12 inches beneath the black sand and how many times did I go over that area with a lesser model and others so all I will need is find many more like that or bigger and the chickens can have a better chicken coop .
