How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

22/30 eggs Today. I wish it's cooler here my hens were panting, we had 60s and 70s the whole summer, now suddenly we're having near 90s weather entering fall.

Today we had 5 eggs from 8 chickens - we are also chicken sitting for our neighbors and their 7 chickens laid 5 eggs.

11/12 today. We got an amazing plum purple egg from one of the pullets today, a color we have never seen and I'm not sure which bird laid it. May be the last time for that many eggs for a while as molting has commenced big time with several of the girls.

Yup. We turned on the fans in the run, haven't had to do that in a while. First day of fall and Ohio is having some of the hottest days of the year.

What kind of fan did you use and how did you fastened them, I'd been wanting to do that but haven't got to it since I added the 2nd coop.

I have a stand fan in the main coop here but suspend one from a rafter in the new coop
our first day of fall we are cloudy and cool had to turn heat on first time
yesterday

Hot here in Pa for the rir girls and it was a quick change for them to. Not long ago nights were in the low 40’s and the furnace running. They still managed to lay 5/6 for yesterday and today
