I collected an even dozen eggs today. I have at least 1 new layer!
I found out tonight that my ex-husband ( my daughter's dad), passed away. He had colon cancer, but wouldn't admit it to us and wasn't getting it treated. He was in his early 50's.

Send my condolences to your daughter . I just lost my father late last year, also from cancer.

On a positive note, I got 4/5 again today.

Hello all! I will be so excited when my freeloaders start putting out lol I only got one yesterday (haven't checked yet today) but normally I get two a day out of 3 that are laying and 2 others that should be laying by now. And I can't wait until my ameraucana starts laying. I may pee my pants when I go out and collect a blue egg

I got her a month ago and I think they said she was 5 months old at the time. So just waiting...

Don't know, haven't checked But the "offerings" have been declining. Older girls are starting to moult and only 2 of the 6 girls from April have started. Those are the Exchequer Leghorns. Cute little white eggs. Hoping the 2 Welsummers will start soon, they have red faces, combs and wattles.

Pretty bird. Try to control the urge to pee your pants, the egg will be a pretty blue whether your pants are wet or dry.
