How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 2 1/2 Inches of snow today, melted down about an inch by late afternoon. I let the hens out to free range about 45 minutes before sunset. Blondie was hesitant to leave the shoveled pen for a few minutes, but finally decided to join the others under the deck, by running and flapping. It was funny to watch.
I think I have a velosirapter in my neighborhood. I discovered these tracks outside of the pen. . . I only got 2 eggs today. But I'm not complaining. I got 5 yesterday. GC

2/8 One blue and one Lt brown. so, muffin is back and by the looks of the Santa Clause belt on the other. penny. our old Dominecker hen. Bless her, she lays the ugliest eggs but, they eat good.

came out at 5 my 3rd lavender that I had not decided sex is a pullet baby blue egg this morning 3 pullets 7 cockerel 5 already gone one in each coop growing up. 2 from new coop 3 with the baby main coop

Congratulations!! And for all of you that have been waiting on yer girls to start producing again and all the frustration when they don't, sending my love.

I know that post is a few weeks old, but after the last time I was on, things got busy… A little over a week ago I went from getting 1 egg a day to getting 4-5. Here's a photo..
Then yesterday I discovered in one of my mobile coop nests, 5 more light green eggs I suspect my strawberry colored egger hen Fresa of laying (not pictured.) Was singing 6 hens a laying the rest of the day.

Way too early here 12:30 girls do not even think to start until 2 or so
ugly eggs eat just like pretty ones
