1 from Trill this morning. She started ~2 months later than the 2 girls that have laid 53% of the days since their first egg and she is now also at 53%. But she's the only one that has laid in the past 5 days. I hope the slowing increasing light will kick them back into gear. Of course with highs for the next few days being below 0°F, they may not be interested

Was 6F again this morning, it's 15 degrees now and sunny with a slight breeze.
2 hens in nests at 5am and an egg. Found 4 more at nine. No need to check for eggs again today, yea. GC

It's 7F now and breezy, was zero this morning. I put more straw under coop where they've been hanging out, and replaced the metal pail for a rubber bowl under the coop. The pail froze and I couldn't get the ice out.
Found 3 eggs at nine and 2 at one. GC
Edited to say; One of the eggs I got today, was a thin shell, it cracked when I was washing it. I only count good eggs. It will be fed to the hens tomorrow. 4/5 today. GC

You posted that after 10 PM. Rural King is open that late??
