How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

26 yesterday, now off to a wedding. Should I bring dozens of eggs as a gift LOL

I have not gotten a single egg for 3 weeks does anybody have any suggestions.

First thing I might suspect is a furry four-legged egg thief. Especially if your chickens are healthy and showing no signs of mites etc., or that they are eating the eggs. Maybe you can rig up a trail cam to see what is happening around the nest boxes? I would find it strange they would all go off line at once.

My wife took eggs, a kitchen item and recipes to our future niece-in-law's wedding shower last week. Why not?
I would rather have eggs than a few of the wedding gifts we got!

Only 3 today - it was my biggest girl (a whole 2 weeks older - a sussex) who didn't today - it has been ages since the silkie had a day off - I must be doing something right :yesss: - the bloke I bought them off said a couple of eggs a week :tongue
I bought 5 silkies that were supposed to be laying about 2 weeks ago. There were 2 eggs laid in the first 2 days and none since. They have a big coop to themselves plenty of room etc. IDK what their problem is. My Easter Eggers and Black orphingtons are laying great.
