How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

that seems more an issue than a broody going back to laying
Really? Shes not a broody going back to laying. All my girls are almost 24 weeks old so shes only ever laid like 3 eggs. She started about 10 days ago. I'm pretty sure she laid yesterday (I have one other girl that lays speckled dark eggs). Today she seems completely normal, no soft eggs anywhere and she went into a box about 20 minutes ago. Fingers crossed a normal egg and I hope she worked it out. If it is an issue - what do I do? I've looked into other calcium supplements. If she doesn't lay a normal egg - I'll intervene.

Early laying from the big girls today but odd eggs. 1 was fine, 1 was a bit wonky / crinkled looking with spots and the other was a totally soft shell (it feels like just that layer that is normally under the shell - very odd). Doris the Dim silkie not laid yet but she doesn't know she is supposed to lay in the morning and prefers to wait til the afternoons :gig
They had of course eaten the weird soft egg - I'm thankful that they are leaving the proper eggs alone (they ate the very, very thin shell yesterday) and just hoping it is purely chance eating they are doing.
