9 eggs today. @Spartan22 you and I have very similar weather. I think yours is a bit colder though. Our low was 8*F not counting the wind chill factor.

We are close to 50 today no rain in site at least another week 2 from silky early

I have 6 layers. I can tell the days are getting longer. I was down to 1 egg a day. It briefly went to 2 a day. The past three days I have gotten 3 a day! Woo hoo! Warm days have got to be around the corner!

good for you trimmed silky nails on two of my 4, 2 are brooding 3 eggs so will not
mess with them until the eggs hatch

19 Eggs Today, one of my 3 1/2 yr old RIR was found dead on the coop floor this morning, could be a heart attack, falling off the roost in the middle of the night.

I got my first from my fav pullet Buffy 4 days ago!!! 1 today they are small but getting bigger

That is the way it works! My first chicks came in 2012, 2 Faverolles. Those girls laid Peewees for the first 2 months then made it to USDA Small. Never did get to Medium other than the rare 52 gram egg.
