How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

19 Eggs Today, one of my 3 1/2 yr old RIR was found dead on the coop floor this morning, could be a heart attack, falling off the roost in the middle of the night. :(

9 for me today. It wasn't as cold today as predicted!! Did have snow flurries for a while, but not enough to do anything (other than look pretty falling from the sky).
I got duck taped to a wall at school on Friday!! It was for a fundraiser for leukemia research. They did not get enough tape on me to get me to stay stuck to the wall.:idunno I was hoping they would, but when they removed the chair, I promptly slid straight down the wall!:lau

Oh no Kris - sorry to hear that :hugs:hugs

My first chicks came in 2012, 2 Faverolles. Those girls laid Peewees for the first 2 months then made it to USDA Small. Never did get to Medium other than the rare 52 gram egg.
Really :eek::eek:I thought I'd be getting really nice sized eggs - do you think that was just your girls or are Faverolles generally small. I'm sure the eggs I put under for hatching were much bigger than that.

Just been down and there is 5 - one seemed slightly warm though so thinking that is from today!. Friday I had 5 - dropped one of them getting them out of the coop and trying to hold them all have never needed to take anything down with me when I only had 2 or 3 - I may need to rethink that!!), then dropped another as I was putting them on the table and telling dh about the first :lau:th

That is the way it works! My first chicks came in 2012, 2 Faverolles. Those girls laid Peewees for the first 2 months then made it to USDA Small. Never did get to Medium other than the rare 52 gram egg.

My 2 Salmon Faverolles, I got last year have also the smallest eggs in my flock. They are small to medium size consistently. Smaller than my 2 Crested polish.
