Oh they all sound so lovely! Sounds like 1 is a keeper (although the other boys sound nice too). Do you want more Faverolles? If so then keep him too.Right now on my camp:
I have one Araucana hen but want to breed him with the others too (including the BCMs for olive eggs) to get all different coloured eggs! Also I get frustrated by the size of the Araucana's eggs so would like to see him breed with some of the bigger egg laying girls.@PouleChick will vote to keep Prince William - do you have hens to pair with him?
Yeah that is where I'm coming too as well. I kind of got attached to King Louis (and my son Louis named him LOL can you tell@PouleChick
Also voting in candidate #3 Mr. Blue to pair with your BCM for dark eggs, I love all my dark egg layers. Reason I have a hard time getting rid of more BCMs roosters.
Yep it's becoming unanimous! To be honest the weeks it will take to get thier legs in good shape and be sure that I'm not passing on any SLM issues I'm thinking not worth it adn will just have to bite the bullet and process them. Also starting my fabulous new job on the 1st of April so time will be more limited. None of my roos have ever shown any aggressiveness - they'd already be in the freezer if they had - no brainer here as I have a small guy.If your flock were my flock......
I would keep the white roo and the Marans. I would not have the tiny silkies exposed to the big roos.
I would process all the rest or sell them. I know the bantam boy has an annoying crow.Maybe someone else won't find it bothersome.
That said, any rooster that is aggressive toward humans I would not keep regardless of breed.
I would definately try to sell them if it wasn't for the SLM.Ok. Wow. I just tried to make my imaginary choices for your boys and discovered I couldn't bring myself to cull any of them.So I took them to the local farmers market and sold them to a sweet lady that loves roosters...I've got a really good imagination.

I know, I know but poor King Louis - off with his head!@PouleChick I agree with @21hens-incharge on the roos. If you want to know what is going into your chicks, meaning keeping blue egg genes and very dark egg genes, you don't want to have your mutts in the mix.
OK, spill the beans! Also starting my fabulous new job on the 1st of April
Sure, you can cross any breed with another. That cross should help keep the blue egg genes in the line. Can an easter egger be any breed with araucana?
