34 eggs today. They didn't all make it though. I dropped my egg basket

That is a bummer. Can't sell those but you can eat them yourself.

anytime I crack or dent if the membrane is intact we eat them I just tell the guys to that one first did finally get 6 yesterday but all silky are broody now

7 eggs out of 10 potential layers! Yay! First day in quite awhile that we have gotten more than 5.

13 for sure, probably more but I have a Barred Rock that was on the nest when I went out to collect and was still on the nest several hours later when I went out to lock them up. I don't know how many are under her or if she is going broody or if she is just taking her time laying her egg. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. I wouldn't mind if she is going broody, I'm expecting a dozen eggs to arrive here soon!!

Oh yeah, Mixedbreeds post reminded me that I think I have a new egg layer!! I have 5 pullets that are around 6 months old. 3 of them are EE and the little egg ( but not fart sized) was blue, so I am assuming that one of those 3 laid it.

haaaa haaa good to see you join the thread here I have 4 broody silky seeing no banty eggs this week .. do have 3 eggs under Dirt she will hatch and raise if they are fertile

Thankfully no rain here last 2 days warning us back like day after tomorrow
only 6 made deal for 16 birds 12 olive eggers 6 BC marans these are all 2 to 4 weeks old
