How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 6 out of 9 today from my flock and 3 out of 3 from my friends that are boarding with me for a while. I don't have heat in my chicken house but mine don't seem to mind the cold. This may be desert but it's high desert and snow falls below our height a lot of times and we get a lot of cold wind.

18 out of our 19 Gold Comets! And it's been miserable wet cold here for weeks now. I've been expecting a big drop off since early December but the Gals have been going like the Energizer Bunny. Get yourself some Gold Comets if you want eggs.

I got an egg from a mystery layer today (yesterday too) not sure who has started laying but I'm grateful!

Also, I'm integrating 3 hens after a month of quarantine and a week of eyeballing. 1-2 hr. a day with a water gun handy for the meanies.

I got 16 eggs from 50 hens! today.

19/35 today should have had twenty but they cracked one, oh well still could be worse though could not of gotten any today, boy I had enough of that back in Dec. and part of Jan.
