Yep I expected it from the June pullets, still REALLY amazed that some of the older girls are laying this time of year since they never have before.

I have no eggs to report today! I do have wind and pouring rain so there’s that...

I got 11 eggs today. I finally got a lull in the rain to go check.
6 eggs from 8 hens in 1 coop, but only 5 eggs from 21 hens in the other coop. And those darn roosters didn't lay any eggs!

11 eggs again today. Started snowing here around 3:00 PM. It's not supposed to get above 32 until noon tomorrow and then the high for the day is only 41. So we may end up with a lot of ice.

6 today, including one from Persephone! She's a 7.5 year old EE, doesn't usually start back up until mid February. Maybe someone told the older birds that girls who lay don't go in the stew pot. Whoever it was neglected to mention that non layers don't go in the pot here either.

I have 7 but 3 in silkie still had a hen in the nest when I was out just before dark dark still at 5 here almost 6 now had two more at close one had been stepped on layed on floor so broke

I only got 6 eggs today, but they're progressively getting bigger, so yay!
