I got 35 today and didn't put a single one in my pocket.

You must have REALLY big hands!

My DF brought over some guinea eggs for me to INCUBATE!!!

As long as they go back home after they hatch!!!

I forgot to get them again today. today was a bit crazy. I’ll get them tomorrow.

I hope it is warmer there than here, they would be frozen by morning.

Honesty, I love it!

Apparently it is a somewhat rare thing. A few weeks ago I went to the farm and garden store, got 2 bags of layer, 1 of alpaca maintenance and 1 each of 2 flavors of dry cat food. Got home and was entering the info in Quicken and the layer and alpaca pellets into a spreadsheet where I track costs.

OOPS! The young lady didn't ring up one of the bags of cat food. I went back the next day, brought one up from the shelves to the counter, different young lady (BTW, by young I'm guessing about KDogg's age). Explained that I took 2 bags home but was only charged for one. With great amazement in her voice she said "Boy are you honest!".

Um, OK. It seemed like the only thing to do. I guess I'm not in the "normal" crowd?

Yup, been in the 40s this week!! Although colder at night. Possibly below or at freezing but no frozen eggs today!

Last time there were huge cracks down them. That was the time I left them for 3 days and only salvaged 5 of 12.

And yeah, I think a lot of people would have just kept quiet and kept the bag unfortunately!

The pullets are laying.

Wasn’t expecting them yet. 5 with one broken. 4 pullets, 6 months old.

The other coop had one broken again.

I got 12 today, 6 from the pen, 2 from the cage and 4 from the brooders. Intergradation continues Wednesday I moved the pullets from the double cage to a pen, Thursday I'll move 6 to the double cage (look no touch) leaving only 4 in carriers in brooding area.

That is a good looking bunch of eggs! Especially the torpedo one!

5 today. I had to wait for the first 2 from the hens this morning or I would have been shy on my delivery of 4 dozen.

For some reason my girls are slowing down right before they traditionally come out of their Fall moult egg strike.
