Thanks it feels like it's been forever! I'm not sure which one laid it. My Welsummer is about a month older than my white rocks so I'm guessing its probably hers.

Probably. However, if I look at the ages my girls of those breeds started laying, a month wouldn't make the determination. I have a range of 22+ weeks to 28+ weeks for WRs and 24+ to 31+ for Welsummers.

My WRs lay a medium brown colored egg, fairly shiny. The Welsummers lay a darker egg and often have even darker spots on them.

Only 8 eggs again today. The ironic part is that the unlighted coop is out laying the coop with lights!
5 eggs from 8 hens in the unlit coop.
3 eggs from 21 hens in the lighted coop ( hubby did not turn lights on today though).

Here is my biggest egg today. 99 grams!

I have 1 hen in the unlighted coop that always lays a huge egg like that! She lays almost every day and they are NOT double yolks.
I have to laugh at how the 2 pictures turned out!! The big egg picture is so close that it makes it look even bigger than the picture of the smaller egg.
I think I will take a picture of the 2 of them together so you get a better size comparison.
