How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

OUt of four laying hens I got three eggs! Same as yesterday! Hmmm...seems I may have a slacker....

21/35 today about the norm as of late.

5 out of 6. My little pheonix hen has been surprising me lately. They are not known for being a laying breed but she has been laying 5 a week. That's as good as the Amerauana and rhodies this winter.

5/7 One of my 21 week old RIR laid her first egg today.

6 out of 9 today. Tomorrow I go get my 3 baby chicks that were hatched in a friends incubator. I have the brooder ready.

My girls have slacked off a bit. I was getting around 10 eggs/day, but now I'm only getting 5 or 6 out of 12 or 14 hens.

I wish I could tell which ones are laying. Some of my older girls quit I think.

I got 4 on the first trip to the chicken kingdom and have seen my EEs in the nests so we will have to do another egg check in a few minutes!
