Got one of those today too, our firstI had a hen lay a 67g egg, the next day she laid a 21g egg & on the 3rd day she laid one just like yours, it was 6g. What breed are they? I had Anconas and Cubalayas that managed with the occasional -20°F temps for years.I have had birds of this breed freeze solid when temps get around 20.
From a pullet or bantam? Actually 4/5 of a USDA large is 48 grams, USDA small. I've got birds that lay in that range. Useful for a half recipe of something that calls for one large egg.I was like how the heck did you get four fifths of an egg
I was thinking more along the lines of 'an egg that only four fifths is there and it just cuts off the final fifth' lol7 today. More feathers on the ground.

If you are talking chicks, did they have 24x7 access to a proper heat source?
