How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 out of 4. My pullets are 29 weeks now and one still isn’t laying It’s an Easter egger, and her sister started laying weeks ago.

10 from 12 hens! Including a giant one, probably a double yolk. I was looking forward to eating that one, but my daughter came by and needed eggs so i gave her all 10. Should have kept 1 to make bread with in the morning! Oh well

I got another egg this morning darker and slightly bigger. She's not laying in the nest box despite all my fake eggs. She goes in, looks at it, then goes to an empty pot that I use for plant trimmings and uses that instead.

I had to block an area to keep my hens from laying there, they are now laying in the nesting boxes! Throw a cover over it & she will figure it out! Well, she should anyway...lol

Hey all! I haven't had much time to post, I was mostly gone last week! Here are pictures of the eggs from the 19th to today!
This is what my son collected for several of the days we were gone! 34 eggs!

The remaining eggs collected! One of my girls has started laying a white egg...not sure what's going on & I don't know which one it is!

4 out of 5, but hope to get 2-3 new pullets this week. Btw, I know birds up here in NJ slow down and stop laying in the winter. But what about down south where it's warm? Do the ladies ever get a break.....?
