I got 8 eggs today ( from 1coop) and none from the other. But it stills feels like I hit the jackpot with 8 compared to what I’ve been getting.

Nice. I don't feel bad now, because I figured everyone else would be getting lots more than me.

But I have 15 pullets that will be 24 weeks Monday so the other 13 better shape up!!!

They still count, right? I found a cracked egg on the bottom and though it got pecked at. Then the other day I was in the coop and hear a thump/crack, looked over and saw one of my grays standing there. She laid it standing up. so I put more nesting material in the boxes.

It does count, I suppose . I kinda figure that's what's happening with mine, too. Its the 4th cracked one I've found. The dummies keep kicking all of the bedding out. If I put any more of a lip on the front they won't be able to get in! I guess I'll just keep adding more daily for now. Only 2 more weeks and then they can start the move out of quarantine into the big coop with better nest boxes.

I have over 100 Most of them have either done laying for the season, or are molting. But I can't complain, I'm still getting more than enough eggs.
And oh boy.... they are definitely a handful!
