How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Internets been down for almost a week grrrr. My lovely girl haven’t let me down. I’ve averaged 6 a day this week but also 7 in one day and 8 today out of 10.

For the past couple of weeks we've been getting 2 per day with a few days of 4 or 5. Another pulled has started laying and is giving us blue eggs. My daughter is thrilled!

I asked for and got a small digital scale for Christmas last year. If I was one to write things down and keep records it would be really helpful. As it is, it’s tons of fun to weigh the eggs every morning so you can bore the whole neighborhood with the day’s numbers!

I got 1 from the coop but the 1 I left in a 'hidden' nest so the pullet would keep laying there is gone. grumble.

Looks like a second pullet started laying in the straw bale with the first, which makes it 5 out of 7. I’m guessing it’s the leghorn mixes, but I haven’t caught any in the act yet.
