5 out of 7. I’m still trying to entice the new layers into using the nest boxes. I moved one with a fake egg to the floor in hopes that it’ll get their attention. My other hens are starting to use their hiding place.

I just wish mine would continue to use the same hiding place after I find it. They're too smart.

Only 2. The babies won't stay out of the nesting boxes and only 2 of the layers will kick them out. The rest squwack and dance like their waiting their turn and don't realize they are bigger and can boot the babies out. And you know, of course, no one ever uses the 3rd box anyway so I don't know why I even have more than 1.

Only 4 today. I have a barred rock that apparently wants to go broody. She has not been happy that I have been taking the eggs out from under her the last few days. But I'm not getting enough to be able to let her try to hatch some!!

6 of 10. And yea , I see people are having the same ( won’t lay in nesting box ) problem as me 4 do and the rest won’t and I’ve tried everything.

11 of 11.... but the Mrs. dropped and broke 5 of them , that's the bad news. Good news is the dogs got a fresh and delicious treat without having to work for it.
