While your numbers are way down from summertime, 29 is still a lot of eggs. Did you end up having so many chickens because you introduced new pullets every year to combat lower production from molting and colder months? I blame my local feed store for about half of my chickens. The guy who runs the chick department is a friend of mine, and he knew what breeds I had.
