9 eggs and a frog that was on the outside fridge when I was putting them away.

This year so far has taught me that just because a hen is broody, doesn’t mean she’s a good mama! I gave Luca eggs and I think I’ve just created an egg eater. Someone is eating them but Luca abandoned her eggs and now it’s back to breaking her. Sad but true. 8 eggs today. Should’ve been 9 or more.

8 of 15. Crazy, broody Luca is in jail. This is the 2nd time I’ve had to put a chicken in jail and she holds the honor of being that chicken both times! She’s so mad.

10 out of 11. One of by buff orpingtons seems like she’s considering going broody again. I saw her doing the walk and talk, hopefully she decides not to.
