How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

It makes sense. Just like @chrissynemetz my chickens decide to molt when the days get short and cold. The difference is my chickens started back laying in January when it’s really at its coldest but the days are getting longer.
Mine definitely lay less during the cold of winter. They molt just as it's starting to get cold, then they usually don't begin laying good again until spring.

I havent yet had a chicken long enough to molt but mine are losing feathers more now ... i guess imma have to wait these 2 months out..

What is she sick about ?
