Combs are getting a little brighter on a few. I just put the nest boxes in the coop a week ago and threw some fake eggs in them for encouragement. I have seen two of the RIRs sitting in the boxes recently so I haven’t given up hope yet!

Never give up hope. I have read that pullets that haven't layed before winter (short day light hours) they tend to hold off until spring. Of course that doesn't mean some don't lay before then. Good luck
