How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

OMG! I barely have customers selling at $2 a dozen and they have complained about prices.

It helps that our health food stores price free-range eggs at $4.50…the Amish sell them for $3, but people are super excited about our “rainbow carton”. All customers so far are current/former coworkers and were blown away by the teal eggs! Now I have to make sure theres at least 1 or 2 in all the cartons lol.

I was told DG sells here at $1.95 without tax. I told her here you walk across the street never wait in line and never need to mask up. But you you want to save that nickel you won't hurt my feelings.
Yes, I know she will pay more going to DG and more of a hassle but I don't think she has figured it out. I'm not coming off $2 for someone that can pay it.

Raise it to $2.50 and tell her the cost of chicken feed has gone up during the pandemic.
