About 6 months. I was hoping the RIRs and Barred Rock would be laying.

WOW That is late. The lazy free loaders. In a few months you won't know what to do with all those eggs you will have. I hope you know how to freeze and can them.

1/3 today. However, Meryl Peep laid an egg for each of the past two days! So both the EEs are laying again. Not sure if/when She-Ra will start. She's, what, 5 this year, so hopefully she's still got some good egg-laying years in her. Especially since she didn't lay anything at all for the entire first year I had her 8|

I have 11 from my big girls .. Just 1 frizzle in the banty coop 5 other pullets in the banty crowd she is the only laying

New pullets beginning to lay, some older still in molt, all amerucanas are fully feathered and heavily bearded, so
of 24 hens 12 eggs. About normal with all the changes, too.
I am a happy girl !


Today, 10 Jan 22, we got 17 from 24 hens. One more blue egg! And...two beautiful dark brown with almost black speckles, this means both Black Copper Marans are laying!
