I have been getting 11 eggs out of our 12 chickens each day since they started laying. I have one slacker and I will need to have a talk with her. I had only one day with only 9 eggs, and only a few days of 12 eggs.

9/19 but 13 are moulting and getting accustomed to their new home. We just brought them home yesterday.

so its been awhile since i've been on here and when i was last on i was only getting 1 egg! i'm up to 6 a day from 6 hens!!!

Its the most I've ever gotten!!!!

For a week or 2 we were getting an egg out of each of our laying hens. This week down to 2, then back up to 4 a day.
I have a broody Phoenix hen, can you believe that?!
Our Easter Egger must be mad cuz hubby clipped her wing, no eggs for the past 2 weeks.
We wonder if some hens get thrown off by a broody hen in the nesting area?

The other Phoenix has taken to hiding her eggs under the lid to an old bar-b-que we are storing in their yard, I should really get a pic of that, it is so funny!
