When we had negative 4 degrees and snow our 19 hens were still laying about 10 eggs! And here that weather is very unusual!Because this is the weather lately View attachment 2971290 everydays a stuggle of trying not to slip and slice my neck open on the gavanized roofs of my coops trying to give water to everyone one of my pens doors was frozen shut that took a pulling to, noticing frost in my coops aswell really cant do anything about it right now though.
Well plus the other 2-3 that didn’t lay are broody (silkies of course )I got 13 eggs yesterday out of my 19 hens! That was a new record! We still have 3 hens that aren’t laying so that made it 13/16!
