Our old dogs never chased the chickens at all… the first chicken weever owned bonded With them, so even after we got more birds she refused to sleep with the rest of the flock, she slept in the dog house with the dogs… what ever the dogs did she was right there with them… and beyond jealous if she didn’t get pets too… yep she was a dog in her head, and the dogs seemed to think she was a dog too…

Only 7 yesterday from the big girls. 2 from banty land seems we have 4 maybe even all 5 laying not all at once.
None of the two large dogs are allowed in with the chickens. The labrador Moose like to carry them slobbers all over them .. Snow like to pull the feathers.

Nice, how old are they? I am only getting 2 or 3 eggs from my 11 "old" girls. This is (8) 3-yo EEs and (3) 2-yo BAs. I'm thinking soup, dumplings and bone broth, ladies!
