15/16 today...plus I got my first quail egg

I got 2 and 1 half an egg (it was a no shell egg). Here is a pic of the 2 good ones. well 1 good and 1 odd. They came from my 6 mo. old dominique pullets

I got 7 out of 8 possible. I have been getting 6 or 7 and one of these days I hope to get 8 out of 8 just for fun!

I got a surprise. 2 whole eggs, 3 broken eggs / 19 girls plus 1 thief caught in the hen house. Now I know why my egg count has been so low, the skunk has been eating them all. I'll have the last laugh on him when I catch him soon and haul him off to the mountains!

Shocked by the fact my girls only cranked out 4 eggs yesterday! I have been getting 6 or 7 everyday for months. I am waiting now to pick the eggs up for today.
