Look at the attachment and then look at the new pile that I just posted. in the attachment picture the snow is all beat down around the crumble and in the new picture the snow has no tracks in it they don't want anything to do with that feed nobody does the birds the critters nobody

And? I've got piles of all sorts of stuff right now that critters haven't gone into.

So an update on my 26 Rhode Island Reds… I went from 14-16 eggs per day to 23-24 per day. Temps running avg between -2 to 9 C. They are doing great. Never had 26 yet but have had a few times of 20-22 and even a couple times of 25!!

Didn't count the silkies and Cornish eggs. Wasn't feeling like crawling in the snowy mud to get eggs I was gonna break anyways. Looked like 3 silkies and 2 Cornish, maybe more

7 today. My OE still refuses to lay in a nest box. Her egg is usually in the back corner of the coop in the shavings.
