Is this typical for western WA and girls that are 2 1/2? They're on organic layer mash from In Season Farms. They get some greens, worms and bugs from the garden, forage in the grassy run for about 1/2 to 1 hr a day. I don't really care about the low egg production, they are just good pets and I enjoy keeping them, but wonder if that is typical.
Chez, I don't think there is a "normal" anymore. I just take what I get and hope for more the next day.
11/24 but two were broken. Added more cushion to the boxes so hopefully the girls won't be breaking anymore eggs when they lay them. You'd almost think they were dropping them out instead of laying them!
