Very Good, Max!!! We got 18 from our 19 GC's today. We actually have 30 now with the addition of 11 new GC's from Shook's yesterday but they won't be laying for another four weeks or so. They're settling in in the old run. I got a new tarp over it and we keep them in a big dog crate at night in the garage until we can move them into the big Gals run. I'm not looking forward to that because I think that's going to cause a lot of conflict and egg production may cease like it did back when we added the second six pullets to our first six. But hopefully we'll have a balanced flock again in a couple of months and getting at least a couple of dozen eggs each day. My customers at work are demanding more eggs!

Good luck with your addition to the flock,I'm sure they will be a few ruffled feathers among the group but it won't take long for things to be (clucking) right along again.
1 outta 4 hens. The same one laid my first egg also. She laid early this morning around 8.
Funny thing is the first egg she laid was in the box with a plastic easter egg so I moved the plastic egg to the other box out of the way (or so I thought) and she laid the second egg in the box with the plastic egg! I left the plastic egg in the second box they like sleeping in the other one.
We ate both eggs today, with 4 store bought eggs, I cooked the fresh eggs separate so I could taste the difference, they were definitely more eggy. Not sure I have ever had fresh eggs.
That is 2 eggs in 4 days, hopefully the others will get on board soon.
