16 today from our 19 Gold Comets! Oh, but there's gonna be trouble in the henhouse tomorrow morning when they come out. This evening we introduced the 11 new youngsters we've kept segregated from the flock after they we onto the roost tonight. Let the pecking order begin...

6/8 today. I believe my little oegb is trying to go broody and oh she is the best little mother hen ever. Too bad I have no fertilized eggs for her this time!

1/5 it's been about 8 weeks since they've just about stopped laying now since i've introduced the chicks, this is getting old!!

17 Today from our 19 GC's. Well, last night we put our new 11 youngster (18 Week GC Started Pullets) in with the 19 laying GC's. Angst in the henhouse. I was surprised we got even one egg today. The youngsters kept to themselves over in one corner and we had to move their old waterer and food dish down to them else they would've starved or get dehydrated. It's going to be a wild week you can bet.
