3/3 yesterday and today. Caught Karen scoping out a new hidey hole both days, but their new run should be finished tomorrow, so hiding places will be far more limited.

no that’s not a type o How did I get 8 eggs from 7 hens,
I know I gathered all the eggs yesterday,
So here’s the reasons there could be 8 eggs!
1. My new rooster is a hen!
2. One of my hens laid 2 eggs!
I sure hope what I thought was a rooster is a rooster!

3/4 today and I just found out that the bird I was told lays white eggs is most likely one of the hens providing tan eggs! That make so much more sense than having a freeloader and an over-worker.

Yorkshire Coop was kind enough to point me in the right direction.

2/3 today. Had to chase Karen out of the trees a few times. So she could either be taking a break today, laid under the steps, in the trees, or in an unknown hiding spot, OR the thunderstorm/me chasing her out of the trees scared her enough she won't lay today.

Edit: 3/3. Karen laid late.
