2 Monday, 3 yesterday. Sunshine for a change.

7 yeaterday! All but my broody. She’s been in the breaker cage on a perch for 2 days, let her out last night & after stretching, she went right back in the nest box. Earned herself a few more days…she’s a nut!

6 yesterday. We (Me and and the chickens) had a meeting and decided we need a new coop. We decided to let the goats have the old coop since they like it so much and have tore up almost everything in it and get a new coop. The chickens agreed to lay their eggs in the new coop and stop laying in the goat dog houses. I informed the ladies if they didn't hold up their end of the deal, I would nail a board over the goat dog house entrances! The new coop is on the way. Should be here in just a few minutes

The new coop in front. The old coop behind it, the beloved goat dog house on the left where most of the eggs are deposited. And the chickens roosted on the chain link fence last night lmao.
