How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

1 egg. Just got 3 chickens in June and got first egg this past Friday, and now have gotten 1 egg 6/7 days. I'm not sure if it's same one or if it's 2 of them. The third doesn't have the red comb and waddles yet to be laying(most likely).

I got three eggs today.

One is cracked on the end, though. They managed to kick the bedding out of that box, then laid the egg directly on the bottom with no cushioning. At least, that's what it looks like happened. Chickens. lol

Mine did that for a while. I placed 3 layers of bubble wrap on a large piece of paper feed bag and folded it in. Used under the bedding. No more cracked eggs and they have never messed with it.

And still waiting on my pullets who are 28 weeks, 26 weeks to start laying. At this rate my 18 week old pullets will lay first

I'm down to just 6 bantams and get sometimes 2 or 3 a day, the eggs are so little I just throw them over the fence in the neighbor's pasture.
