How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

For me, it was a 5 out of 6 hens day.

5 eggs Sunday the 10th. No blue (Martha took a well-earned day off), both Egger's greens and 3 browns. Will check for today's around 3:30 since I have a couple of afternoon layers. (I understand, girls, not much of a morning person myself! )

2 eggs out of 15+ hens.
Molting season, gotta love it.. Lol

3 again today and one was a jumbo from my smallest chicken (Easter Egger), poor thing, she walks funny before and after laying LOL.

1 out of 7 layers. Most of them are molting. One of the oldest looked pretty naked but soon finishing it.

3 eggs today, from my new layers. Nice to get a full carton once or twice a week, even if they are tiny pullet eggs!

Two and one half Great example of a fairy egg out of our Prairie Bluebell who consistently lays the largest eggs in the flock.

Martha's back from her one day off! Her blue, Edna's green and 3 nice browns.

They followed me around and excitedly got in the way while I raked mounds & cavities flat in the chicken yard where they've excavated it into what looks like bomb craters...made it hard to walk while carrying anything. They of course diligently set to work scratching & digging it all up again.

3 out of 7 for last 2 days. 5 of them taking turns as 2 are in the middle of their molt. all are 9.5 mo. old.
