How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 today out of 9 hens and 2 22 week old pullets. A first tiny olive egg from Dolores my EE pullet and now my Silver Laced Wyandotte Lucy laid her first egg of the season! Things are picking up!
Heavy snow and freezing rain tomorrow here in BC though... They made it through the 4 days of -26C arctic wind chills, and now the dreaded snow they hate. Hang in their girls, spring is coming!

I have been watching the weather out there - it’s been crazy for you guys, winter hit here finally last Friday much to my disgust, it’s been around -11C, tonight -17c calling for -30c windchill (hey I know -43c real temp so -30 is nothing!), my pullets have been laying since before Christmas and I thinks it’s because of the mild weather we had been having.

I now have 11 dozen eggs in the fridge! I hope to sell some real soon! I need more clients the two regulars I have only want so many. Ok time to slow up ladies winter is here you can slow down!

Hi @Ponypoor!
All my family & friends are back home in ON. GTA, Hamilton, Orillia mainly. If you're anywhere near them I could see if they want to become customers :) I've been hearing the reports from them too, you've all been enjoying BC winter up until late last week, while we've been getting your cold. What a blessing that your girls have been laying so much. I have 3 eggs left in my fridge. If they don't pick up soon, I'll be forced to buy a dozen!
