I got my one from my Muscovy Duck again. So glad she is laying.

I collected 4 very muddy eggs on this rainy day. One was really long and skinny and lighter in color than I have been getting so I might have a new or returning layer in the coop.

I spoke too soon. I just collected another one. Based on color and size I think one of my olive Eggers is done with her winter break.

Ended up with 8 today! Unfortunately only 7 for the collection as I put my thumb through one of them…it was slightly brittle…

3 again, same girls. It would have been just Août and Juin, but Mei, who had been working up to it all day, finally laid her egg at bedtime. She was grouchy when I put her up on the perch, and even Juin wouldn’t snuggle up to her for fear of being pecked. Hopefully she has an easier day tomorrow, poor dear. Her eggs are beautiful, but they seem to be difficult for her. All that brown speckling makes for eggs that feel like coarse sandpaper

I had the same thing happen to me a couple days ago. It broke in the egg carton when I attempted to take it out. Thumb when right through the shell. I was able to salvage most of it.

3 Ameraucana's and 2 EE pullets. Now if I can only get the other 7 adults to lay!
