I got 4 yesterday, my best day since October! And that big haul came from 11 hens and 2 pullets

Today MissDolores was the talk of the coop, as she went to lay her first egg! The egg song was the song that never ended this morning. I thought for sure with all the hens singing I'd come home to find a few more than usual..But just the 2 pullet eggs today.

8/10 were laid. 7/10 made it to my kitchen. How do I know there were 8? well...the clues were obvious even if one isn't a panther of the pink variety LOL.

Those eggs are BLUE! what breed do you have that lays a blue so rich? My blues are pale.

Those eggs are BLUE! what breed do you have that lays a blue so rich? My blues are pale.

All 3 blues are from my Ameraucanas. They start out beautiful rich blue at the start of the season, but fade as the season progresses.

I got 7 eggs yesterday. First time I've had 7 in 1 day in quite a while!
