9 today one looks like a double yolk. I noticed you that one of the nest boxes is full of little black feathers. I didn’t get a chance to check for bare bellies but I think Gena the Jersey Giant is getting some ideas going through her little bird brain.

I made a big skillet of scrambled eggs today. I always crack the eggs in a separate bowl before adding them. Twice now since raising ducks I have found something in the egg that is brown, about an half inch thick and the size of a nickel. I think it is where the egg started to develop and was fertile. I had found a nest once with about 8 eggs in it and hadn't been sat on and I took them and I think I remember keeping the eggs. I started refrigerating them back in late November and am just now using some of the ones from then. I got two more eggs today from my Runner and one from my faithful Muscovy.
