25 from our 30 GC's today! Only 2 on the smallish size today from the Youngsters.

Found one egg early this morning on the sand in the run (possibly Dolly's egg from yesterday evening?) and then this afternoon Dolly Parton FINALLY laid an egg in a nesting box!

Still have 2 other hens that are talking about it and checking out the nesting boxes together but thus far nothing.

35/58 today. My summer average is about 38/day. Spring's average was 45/day.

A few of these (four was the last count

) are broody... Darn those Buff Orps and GLWs!

ALL 5 of the GLWs have been broody atleast once this year, and ditto for 8/11 BOs. I really like the Sex-Links, lots of eggs with no broodiness!

Yesterday was 1/21!!!!! Our FIRST egg EVER! Today = nothing. I'm still so excited over yesterday's first egg that I'll let today go. But I'm REALLY hoping someone will lay tomorrow. All are 20+ weeks
