How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Four yesterday for the first time in a long time. Jade was sitting on them, but I don’t know if she’s trying to go broody again or if she just laid one late in the day and was still there.

I haven't been out to collect yet today, my girls don't lay before I go to work. But yesterday I got six eggs. Four from a flock of six possible layers, the other two from the only two layers in the other flock.

Chickens gave me 5, I ate 3, the chickens ate 2 and I sold 3 dozen.
I'm finally down to ZERO eggs... until tomorrow.

From 4 hens in a breeding pen with a gorgeous stud mauve silky, zero. Hubby thinks it's the move. That was 3 days ago, give me a break. Look at this guy! What hen wouldn't want him?

I've been getting 2-4 since I posted this. I break the broodies so then that's the days it's 2 for a few days.

Today though, 3. The past two days, nada. It's been hot here though.
