2 today, from Juin and Juillet

We had a lovely day! 5.5 hours of gardening and 2 hours with the hens while they foraged and dust bathed. My garlic harvest was awesome this year, with enough large cloves to replant in the fall, and still plenty to eat until next summer. Tomorrow I’ll get the bush beans sown in their place.

9 Sunday and 9 intact ones today. There were remnants of one in the box so I guess we had 10.

I don’t know, unfortunately. She has been picking at it in the night, I can hear her screaming when she does, so I tried putting neosporin on it like I was told (something I have on hand), and that seems to have helped her to ignore it. Seems like she’s sleeping peacefully now.

Aw poor chookie, I sure hope she is better today with it.
