Got 4 yesterday and so far I have 3. I have been letting them free range and yesterday they were all out and just having fun. Peppa is now following me when I call her to come with me.

I got five, but I cheated. I did not collect yesterday as one of the hens looked like she wanted to sit, so I left her. Today she had no interest in the eggs, so I took them. I only have three mature hens, so not bad.

Thank you. I’ve been giving her calcium + d3 supplements in her water. We stopped once it seemed that she was making good hard shells, but a week later and she’s struggling again.

I'd give her tablets directly rather than in her water

Thanks, I’ve heard that is a better method elsewhere as well. My husband doesn’t want to force her to swallow anything, lest it stress her further. I’ll keep a close eye on her and give it a try if I must. All I have at the moment are calcium pills, and I’m thinking it’s more of a vitamin d deficiency.

It shouldn't stress her, just place it in her mouth and she should swallow it
