Eight, including a first egg from one of our Easter eggers! A very pretty little blue-green egg.

Can you please post a picture of the Easter Eggers egg? I have 2 and 1 lays brown and the other one lays olive- sometimes green - and sometimes blue. It's a head trip considering this is only my 2nd year of being a chicken mama.

The smaller bluish egg on the right is the first egg from yesterday. For comparison, the two eggs on the left are from our other two Easter eggers. They started laying last month. Initially they laid very dark olive eggs but they've gotten progressively lighter until they're kind of an olive-green now.

The two who lay the olive-green eggs are a light golden color and look more like wheaten olive eggers. The one who laid the bluish egg looks like this but with a huge fluffy brown beard and cheeks.

I think Easter eggers are kind of like boxes of chocolate - you never know what you're going to get!
