7 Sunday, 9 Monday and 8 yesterday and today.
None of the chickens from the batch I was gifted last May are laying yet. They're supposed to be Easter Eggers and I am eager for some different colored eggs apart from the brown my ladies are currently giving us.
This is Bruce. He is part of the colored egg deficiency of our flock. My husband is complaining that he has yet to hear him crow but I think his prime purpose in life is just looking handsome. I'm rather biased though. View attachment 3951852

My one silkie has pretty much dumped her 2 chicks she has raised. They are coming 4 months old. But now she has decided it’s time to go broody - again!
